BUSINESS CLASS ON BOARD OF TURKISH AIRLINES
In Istanbul, where a delegation of journalists went to meet with the leaders of Turkish Airlines on the occasion of its recognition as the best airline in Europe, we flew in business class on a carrier plane. To fly them is a pleasure: the level of service is simply amazing. After registering at Vnukovo airport for a flight to Antalya, through which we flew to the largest city in Turkey, we were taken to the lounge area – the first for a company abroad. THAILAND: IN SEARCH OF THE REST
The bow of the boat with a crunch cuts into the beach covered with coquette, framed by coconut palms, bushes and sprawling banyan trees. Turquoise waves are behind. Surf ahead splashes. Overhead – towers of clouds. In the distance, through the mist over the sea, silhouettes of rocks with forest caps appear. As soon as you jump from the board into the warm water, as the hotel employees already shout “Savasdi!” – “Welcome!” Everything is so beautiful that it is even suspicious. Continue reading
FRANCE: NATIONAL FEATURES
Once in Paris, I hung up for an hour on Bulmish in the mediterration section of the Gibert Jeune store – although it was not a doctor for a second. Bulmish is short for Saint-Michel Boulevard, the main artery of the Latin Quarter, where students of Sorbonne and half the heroines of the novels of Anna Gavalda, the main menesinger and troubadress of today’s Rive Gauche, Left Bank, live with fish. Bulmish with the surrounding streets in general is stuffed with bookstores, shops and camber, including those where all the books are at 20 cents. Continue reading
